Our Repurposed Wine Bottle collection is made from repurposed wine bottles that otherwise would have been recycled. Each bottle is cut, smoothed, and poured in our Santa Rosa, CA warehouse. All bottles are blank/unlabeled.
Ingredients: 100% natural soy wax, phthalate-free fragrance oils, cotton wick.
Burn time: Each bottle is different and has a different sized punt (the indent on the bottom of the bottle), so burn times are different for each bottle. They can range from 30 hours in some short candles to over 100 hours in some tall candles.
All our candles are hand-poured in small batches in Sonoma County (Santa Rosa, CA).
HOW TO BURN to get the most out of your Molehill Mountain candle:
Trim your wicks to 1/8-1/4" before each use, and any time the wicks start to curl. (Never trim while burning or wax is still liquid).
Always discard wick trimmings, do no leave them in the candle.
The wick should always be centered and away from the side of the glass. Stop burning immediately if not centered to prevent overheating the glass.
Burn your candle for 4 hours the first time you burn it to set the tone of the candle and help prevent tunneling. Let the wax melt all the way to the edge of the glass during each burn to prevent tunneling.
SAFETY:
Never leave a candle burning unattended, near flammable items, children, or pets.
Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time.
Always trim your wicks, and do not allow wicks to burn when curled.
Stop burning when only 1/4" of wax remains or if wick is no longer centered.
Burn on a heat resistant surface.
OUR CANDLES ARE USUALLY POURED TO ORDER, SO PROCESSING TIME VARIES FROM 3-5 BUSINESS DAYS BEFORE THEY ARE SHIPPED OUT.
