Candle Care

Want to get the most out of your Molehill Mountain candle? Be sure to follow the following candle care tips to ensure the quality of burn and longevity of your candles.

Always trim your wicks! Trim to 1/8" before each lighting, and after 4 hours of burn time. By trim, we mean just cut or pinch off the top of your wick, or use a wick cutter to cut the wicks. This removes any mushrooming from the wick and promotes an even burn by reducing wick curling.

Stop burning and recycle if the wick ever moves off center or when wax level drops to 1/2" high.

Your first burn sets the tone for your candle. Burn until the melted wax reaches the edge of the glass, approximately one hour per inch diameter of the candle.

Do not burn longer than 4 hours.
